Cedar Hill is open and ready for guests and families to visit safely. Please observe social distancing, mask guidelines, and other health & safety measures that businesses have in place.

We continue to wish you and your families good health and safety as we all work through this global emergency together. 

WHERE TO VOTE: If you're wondering where to early vote and the wait time to do so, click on the link below to find all locations in Dallas County, with approximate wait times. 

CEDAR HILL GOVERNMENT CENTER: Visitors to the Cedar Hill Government Center and Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center, will notice additional traffic in the building and parking lot through Oct 30, due to early voting. All city services are still open and available and can be accessed online, via the link.

VIRTUAL HOMEWORK HELP: The Zula B. Library is offering Virtual Homework Help on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30 pm for grades 3-6. Click the link to register. 

FREE LUNCH FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS: The City of Cedar Hill Senior Center will host FREE Drive -Thru lunches for senior residents of Cedar Hill, through the month of October at Virginia Weaver Park (631 Somerset Dr.) To register, please call 972-291-5353, or click on the link below. 

HALLOWEEN/FALL DECORATIONS CONTEST: Would you like to show off your Fall or Halloween decorations? Submit a photo of your decorations to gwinevere.nelson@cedarhilltx.com and it will be displayed on the Cedar Hill Parks and Recreation Facebook page to be judged by your Cedar Hill community.

For a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prize, submissions must be in by 2pm on October 29th. You must be a Cedar Hill resident to participate.  

AUTUMN MASON JAR DECORATION CONTEST: Beginning October 22, the Cedar Hill Senior Center will host a Mason Jar Decoration contest just for our seniors! Mason Jars will be given out at the free drive-thru lunch for seniors on October 22nd at Virginia Weaver Park (631 Somerset Dr.) from 11am - 1pm. 

Do you love to decorate for the Fall? Would you like to show everyone what you can make? Then send a photo of your best mason jar decoration to electra.thornburg@cedarhilltx.com. 

The Mason Jars will be displayed on the Cedar Hill Parks and Recreation Facebook page. The top three winners will receive a gift card. You must be a Cedar Hill resident to participate.

LET’S EAT, CEDAR HILL: Are you wondering what local eateries are open, offering dine-in or curbside pickup?  Join the Let’s Eat, Cedar Hill Facebook Group to get the latest information directly from the business owners!  

LET’S SHOP, CEDAR HILL: With retail shopping in full effect, grab something at one of our many retail shops. Social distance measures are implemented. The Let’s Shop, Cedar Hill will help keep you in communication with local retailers and how they are working to re-open their businesses to adapt to the current situation.
