[ARCHIVED] Cedar Hill making big splash at Earth Day Texas at Fair Park

People at Earth Day

The City's large exhibit area in Centennial Hall is adjacent to our outdoor adventure partners from the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center and Cedar Hill State Park. The Cedar Hill group is right in the center by the Esplanade entrance.
See how the city is growing green with amazing sustainability technology and recycling programs, conserving green space with spectacular parks, open space and our extensive trail system.See how your already beautiful city is setting aside 20% of our space to maintain a strong natural feel and planning earth-friendly growth to attract new businesses, residents and visitors to the hill country of the metroplex.
Wear your walking shoes because Earth Day Texas is bigger and better than ever. Admission is free, parking is $12, but you can go green and avoid parking by taking DART to Fair park. You can climb a tree, explore deep space, become a junior park ranger, tour a Tiny House, sample green cuisine and drive an electric car, all in one day.
