[ARCHIVED] Library wins state awards

As noted in The Dallas Morning News, the Zula B. Wylie Public Library won recognition in several categories of the Texas Library Association Branding Iron Award. In the Campaign Category, the library was honored for its Read Across the World and Door to Discovery campaigns.
The library also won in the Library on the Go Speeches and Speakers Bureau Category by performing vignettes at several locations before community groups to explain the library's importance.
In the Collateral Material Category, the library was saluted for its use of yard signs to promote the Summer Reading Challenge.
The library, located at 225 Cedar St. is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
