Burlington, a leading national off-price retailer, will open a new, 48,136 square foot store in Cedar Hill this fall at The Market at Cedar Hill Shopping Center, 229 East FM 1382. “We are thrilled to open a new Burlington in the Cedar Hill community, bringing even more jobs to the neighborhood and providing local residents with a valued shopping experience,” says Tom Kingsbury, chairman and CEO, Burlington Stores.
“Large anchor spaces in shopping centers are typically on the market for an average of 33 months, so leasing this space within six months speaks to the viability of the Cedar Hill trade area and prime location of the shopping center,” said Transwestern Senior Vice President Mason Bishop who represented Retail Plazas Inc in the transaction. “We are extremely pleased with the positive leasing momentum Burlington brings to our center,” said Cory McCord, director of leasing with Retail Plazas.
Cedar Hill City Manager Greg Porter said “We’re happy to see Burlington joining our community’s flock of national retailers. As a regional retail hub, Cedar Hill offers retailers and dining establishments a large, growing base of supportive customers and the unique natural beauty and quality of life that is Cedar Hill.”
Burlington’s store will feature ladies’ apparel, accessories, menswear, family footwear, children’s clothing, a broad assortment of furniture and accessories for baby at Baby Depot, home décor and gifts, and the largest selection of coats in the nation at up to 65 percent off department store prices every day.
The store’s design will provide a clean, simple and attractive shopping experience for our customers, making it easy to navigate the store to find our great assortment of brand name merchandise.
This new Burlington store will provide 50-100 new jobs. As the fall approaches, interested candidates can visit Burlington’s website for more information about employment opportunities at the link below.
