Youth Summit is focused on positive interaction between Cedar Hill youth, ages 7-17, and members of the Cedar Hill police and fire departments at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center June 14-16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Presentations and interactive events will include empowerment speakers and reliable information about texting and driving, dealing with peer pressure, drug and alcohol facts, fire extinguisher training and more.
This entertaining and educational event is open to ages 7 to 17. Volunteer and Community Service hours will be awarded to students who attend.
The Youth & Family Initiative is a partnership between the Cedar Hill Police & Fire Department, Zula B. Wylie Library, Cedar Hill Recreation Center, Cedar Hill Independent School District and the Cedar Hill Action Team. The Youth & Family Initiative is committed to reaching out into our community and making an impact in the lives of Cedar Hill families.
