Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Zula B. Wylie Public Library with a bilingual Fiesta Storytime on September 21 and a special Family Fun Night "Dancing through the Cultures" on October 14.
Cedar Hill celebrates Hispanic heritage year-round with the following events:
- Dia de los Muertos on November 1
- Cinco de Mayo is held the first Saturday in May
- Dia de los Ninos Family Book week in May
- Quarterly bilingual storytimes
In addition to the year-round Hispanic cultural celebrations, the library offers the following services to our community in both English and Spanish:
- Adult ESL Classes
- Calendars and brochures provided in English and Spanish
- Spanish Collection (books, dvd’s, launchpads)
- Online Spanish Collections
- Spanish Bookflix
- Pronunciator Language Learning database (with virtual instructors)
