[ARCHIVED] Trash & Recycling Will Not Be Collected on Friday, February 19

Collection will resume on Monday, February 22 and follow the regular schedule.

We understand that many residents have a larger than usual volume of trash, especially those who have missed 2 trash pick-up days due to weather. In an effort to prioritize trash service, recycling service will be suspended for next week only (February 22-29). Residents can fill both their trash AND recycling bins with household trash, and both bins will be collected and taken to the landfill. If you cannot fit your extra household trash bags into both bins, there will also be a roll-off dumpster available for citizens at the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center (310 E. Parkerville Road) beginning Monday, February 22. The rolloff option at the Recreation Center will end on Friday, February 29, so be sure to bring your bags before this date.

There will not be makeup days for recycling service, so if you're able, please save your recyclable items for the next week's collection.

Bulky collection will resume on Monday, February 22, and Waste Management will start where they left off from week 2 pickup. You can set your bulk items out at your regular time, and Waste Management will catch up in the weeks ahead as quickly as possible. Code Enforcement recognizes this effort and will be sensitive to the timing of collection for residents.

Thank you for your patience as we work to recover from this difficult event together.
