[ARCHIVED] E-Waste & Shredding Event

Your vehicle will be unloaded for you.
E-Waste recycle items that can be dropped off are computers, CD/DVD players, cell phones, copy machines, fax machines, printers, satellite TV equipment, VCR's and televisions up to 32". While some recyclers charge to keep some equipment out of the landfill, the City of Cedar Hill provides this service for free. Proof of residency is required.

A mobile paper shredder will also be on site. This is the perfect time to get rid of confidential papers. Bring up to 3 boxes per residential household papers and watch them shred while you wait! This is for residential use only. Commercial will not be accepted.

The inaugural event in the fall of 2010, and each semi-annual event, has successfully collected tons of old electronic gear for recycling and tons more paper has been shredded on site and recycled.
