Fourth of July Events July 3: Addison – Kaboom Town!What: Kaboom Town! is Addison's most explosive party of the year! The annual mega event features live music on the Dos Equis Stage, spectacular Air Show featuring the Cavanaugh Flight Museum's vitange historic WWII Warbird Flyover, kid's activities including rock climbing, giant slide, fun inflatables, sand art, free movie and an obstacle course. The dazzling 30-minute fireworks show is choreographed to music and a live radio simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. When: Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 5 p.m. to Midnight. July 4: Lancaster- July 4th Celebration and Fireworks What: This event hosted by the City of Desoto and Lancaster will include a Family Fun Zone, Food, Vendors & More! Huge Fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and celebrate the 4th of July with the City of Desoto and City of Lancaster. When: Thursday July 4, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Where: Lancaster Recreation Center, 1700 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lancaster, TX 75146Cost: Free

July 4: Duncanville – Parade and Event What:The Lion’s Club and City of Duncanville is having a parade at 9:00 a.m. and a Fourth of July evening event at 4:30 p.m. The event will includes face painting, inflatables, vendors, music and fireworks. Band ZuZu will be performing on the Armstrong Amphitheater from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.When: Thursday, July 4, 2013 Parade is at 9:00 a.m. and Evening event 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.Where: Armstrong Park, Duncanville, TX 75116.Cost: Free (both events)

July 4: City of Bedford - 4thFest What: The city of Bedford's celebrating 60 years of service with the theme of "Sweet 60" and a giant cake. This 4thFEST will feature free live musical entertainment, a variety of themed family friendly activities, a birthday themed classic car show, yummy festival food and spectacular fireworks. July 4: Dallas - Fair Park Fourth What: It's Dallas' biggest fireworks display. Celebrate Independence Day with festivities for all ages and be dazzled by beautiful fireworks from inside Dallas’ historic Cotton Bowl Stadium at MetroPCS Fair Park. This family-fun event will feature a Dallas Wind Symphony patriotic performance, reduced admission to Fair Park's museums, live music, a children's area, “dancing water” shows at the Esplanade Fountain, carnival games, plus a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by Gold Metal Recyclers. For the ultimate experience, guests are encouraged to watch the fireworks from inside the Cotton Bowl. The Cedar Hill Fire Department reminds citizens that it is illegal to discharge fireworks or to have fireworks in your possession in the City of Cedar Hill.The fines are anywhere from $500 - $2000 for each individual firework. Each case is different and it would be up to a judge to determine the exact amount.
There are inspectors and investigators from the Fire Marshal's office will be patrolling the city. If there are any fireworks found, they will be confiscated and destroyed.
