The Jan. 21 meeting will start at 8 p.m. at Trinity Church NAB Dining Hall at 1231 E. Pleasant Run. The focus will be on neighborhoods in the northeastern corner of the city, north of Belt Line/FM 1382 and east of the railroad track.
This will be the second of six neighborhood meetings set by the City Council.
The City Council's top priority is to engage and strengthen neighborhoods because strong neighborhoods:
Are the foundation of a strong City
Minimize crime and enhance safety
Protect citizen investment and increase property values
Maintain Cedar Hill's small town feel
Communicate needs and priorities more effectively
Are where our future leaders of Cedar Hill come from
Meetings will begin with an informative session about services the City offers and will then break out into smaller groups for discussion and individual input.
