Volunteer and Community Service Opportunities

Animal Shelter Volunteers

Due to the effects of COVID-19, our volunteer program is currently put on hold. Current volunteers will be notified once our program gets back up and running. Future volunteers may still apply to volunteer at our facility, however will not be approved until the program is able to start again.

We value and appreciate all that our volunteers do for the animals and their community! For additional information or if you have questions please contact the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@cedarhilltx.com.

We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this time!

There are plenty of ways in which you can help our pets, including:

  • Walking & socializing with pets
  • Grooming & bathing
  • General Cleaning
  • Special Events / Adoption Events
  • Administrative Support
  • Photography
  • Fostering
  • Transporting Animals

And many more! Every volunteer has a skill they can bring to our shelter to help our animals. Please contact us if you have any other ways in which you can help our shelter.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Volunteers must be at least 10 years old and accompanied with an adult until the age of 16.
