The Zula B. Wylie Library Youth Services Department serves children, their caregivers, teachers, and members of the community interested in children's literature. Storytimes at the Library
All Ages StorytimeMondays at 10:30AM
All ages, join us as we read stories, sing songs and make fun crafts.
Pre-School StorytimeWednesdays, at 10:30AM
Ages 3-6 , join us as we read stories, sing songs and make fun crafts tailored to the age group
Sensory StorytimeFridays, at 10:30AM
All ages & developmental stages welcome. A non-traditional approach to storytime, children move and interact with restorative materials. Sensory activities and process art follow storytime.
K-2 Read Along with Ms. Ann
About the Read Along
Kindergarten, First and Second Graders join us in person or virtually on Facebook Live for a fun Read Along and activities related to the book. This event is limited to children who are ages 5-8 only. The video will be available on Facebook and the Zula B. Wylie Library YouTube channel for your convenience. Extra read-along kits will be available in the children's area of the library.

Early Literacy Stations
We have 2 Early Literacy Stations set up in the children's area of the library. They are all-in-one touchscreen computers designed specifically for children ages 2 to 8.
The AWE Learning software included on these stations provides an expansive library of educational applications that are eclectic and engaging. From Math Doodles to Dora the Explorer, there is something special available for every child's learning preference.
A fun, new reading program that you and your child can access from home! Scholastic BookFlix is an online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning.
Your children can access it anywhere there is an internet connection. This interactive resource will help them get excited about reading and books and extends learning beyond school hours.
