North Texas Behavioral Health Authority - NTBHA has a dedicated COVID-19 mental health support line available to those experiencing stress and anxiety during this time of crisis at 833-251-7544.
Resources for Kids - Cedar Hill ISD has provided resources for mental health and wellness and managing stress and anxiety with kids at chisd.org/virtualcounseling.
Food Resources
Cedar Hill Shares Food Pantry - Cedar Hill Shares is a community-wide effort to alleviate hunger in our city. They pledge to provide food and other assistance, without discrimination, to eligible needy families living in the 75104 zip code and within the Cedar Hill Independent School District boundaries. Other area food pantries - these organizations (click here) offer various food assistance programs. Requirements and process vary with each organization - be sure to call to verify eligibility and process (from the Senior Source).
Unemployment Resources
Unemployment Benefits - Visit twc.texas.gov to apply for unemployment benefits. You will need: last employer’s business name & address; first and last dates that you worked for your last employer; number of hours worked and pay rate.
