We offer a range of services and programs throughout the year for tweens ages 8 to 12. We connect youth with free resources such as library materials, creative programs, websites and databases. Through the power of information, imagination and ideas, the Zula B. Wylie Public Library strives to inspire the tweens of our community.

Tween Graphic Novel Book Club

About the Tween Graphic Novel Book Club

The tween book club, for ages 8-12, is a monthly book club that read fun and inclusive books that represent the diverse lived experiences of tweens in the community. Book club meetings are a safe space to discuss the book, do fun activities, and connect with other tweens. Free copies of this month's book are available at the library on a first come first serve basis. 

About the Book

For November we will be reading the book "Sorceline" by Sylvia Douye.

November Meeting Date: 

Monday, November 20th at 5PM at the library.

About the Youth Tellers

The Youth Tellers is for youth, grades 3rd through 8th, to learn the art of storytelling. The Youth Tellers participate in national competitions, perform at city wide events, library events, and more. 

Fall & Winter Meeting Dates

The following Mondays from 5-6PM at the library:
