The Clean Cedar Hill Campus is an initiative to help foster a sense of ownership across church and school campuses by keeping your campus area clean and litter-free!
By registering, you are committing to become a Clean Campus and conduct routine cleanups around your campus for one year as set forth in the Maintenance Guidelines.
The City of Cedar Hill shall provide reusable trash grabbers, safety vests, and gloves at registration. Additional supplies may be available upon request, while supplies last.
Clean Cedar Hill Pledges are committing to conducting routine clean ups at their campus for a minimum of one year. Campuses will appoint or select a member to serve as appointed representative and will maintain contact with the City of Cedar Hill; if that point of contact shall change, the Campus is responsible for notifying the City of Cedar Hill.
Clean Cedar Hill Campuses will agree to a one year commitment and must renew annually. The City may refuse renewal for any reason.
Maintenance of your campus must be completed a minimum of 2 (two) times per year which can include the spring and fall clean-up, and at other times as requested by the City of Cedar Hill. Maintenance will include, but not limited to such things as litter cleanup and debris removal.
The City of Cedar Hill agrees to supply trash bags to assist in campus clean ups. Requests for trash bags must be made seven days in advance of a scheduled event.
The Authorized Representative must submit a Cleanup Report after each event is completed.
Each campus will be responsible for maintaining a first-aid kit and other safety measures while participating in the litter pickup. Participants in the group agree to obey and abide by all laws and regulations relating to safety as may be required by the City of Cedar Hill.
When participants are 15 years of age or younger, the adopters will furnish adequate supervision by adults over 21 years of age. A copy of the volunteer liability waiver is provided at the end of this form.
Although City staff will make all reasonable attempts to help a Campus be successful, the Clean Cedar Hill Campus Designation may be forfeited for the following reasons: Failure to meet terms and conditions of registration during any part of pledge period; Inactivity; and/or Pledge expired and was not renewed.
