About Country Day
Fun and excitement abound each year on the 2nd Saturday of October when Cedar Hill celebrates Country Day on the Hill. 2025 marks the 88th annual event that features a parade, craft vendors, food, activities, contests, and live entertainment on three stages in Historic Downtown Cedar Hill. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 11 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the parade beginning promptly at 10 a.m. For more information visit cdoth.com.

Parade Information
Help us make the 88th Annual Country Day on the Hill Parade bigger and better! The parade theme for 2025 is "It's a Fiesta". To participate, download and submit the application below with entry dues to the Parks and Recreation Department at the Cedar Hill Government Center (285 Uptown Blvd). Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Virtual Parade Meeting
Thank you for joining us Monday, October 6 at 1 pm for the virtual parade meeting. If you were unable to join us, you can click below to view the presentation with all the information you need regarding the parade. Please pass this information along to all your parade participants. You may pick up your parade number starting today through Friday, October 10 at 12pm in the Parks and Recreation offices, located in the Cedar Hill Government Center at 285 Uptown Blvd.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category:
- Beat of the Band
- Best Business Float
- Best Use of Theme
- Country Day's Award Float
- Spirit Award
Princess Pageant
Saturday, October 11
Noon to 1:00 p.m.
Awards are presented at the conclusion of the pageant. Winners will receive a trophy, crown, and sash. 1st and 2nd runners-up will receive a trophy. All participants receive a ribbon.
Age Divisions (Age as of October 5)
1. Baby Miss Country Day 0-11 months
2. Toddler Miss Country Day 12-23 months
3. Precious Miss Country Day 2-3 years
4. Mini Miss Country Day 4-5 years
5. Little Miss Country Day 6-7 years
6. Petite Miss Country Day 8-9 years
Registration
Complete a registration form (Click here to download the Princess Pageant application.) and turn it in, along with $25 cash, at Stacia’s School of Dance, 212 Houston St. (after 4 pm weekdays or 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays, use the mail slot in the door for after-hours drop-off) Or mail to P.O.
