Asbestos Disposal
The first and most important thing to know about handling and disposing of asbestos is that you should not do it yourself. Asbestos is a deadly carcinogen that should only be handled by licensed asbestos abatement professionals.
Local Motor Oil Disposal
Please be responsible and dispose of used motor oil properly. Dumping it into a storm drain contaminates local streams and ponds. Local disposal of used motor oil is available from most oil change businesses and auto parts stores. In Cedar Hill these locations will accept oil during regular business hours:

Local Tire Disposal
Tires will not be picked up with regular trash and they will not be accepted at the Ferris Landfill, nor at the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center. These local dealers have agreed to accept passenger car tires but there is a disposal charge:
